To market a site we can do these steps:

1) Submit your site to directories.
2) Write articles on your topic and distribute.
3) Create rss feeds of your site and distribute.
4) Register in a forum (related to your site) and use signature link to your site in your posts.
5) Exchange links with complementary sites.

Believe me these steps does not cost too much money.............
